While I think that the T1 roster today has a lot of potential, I think it's time to bring back the more accomplished and proven roster of Canna-Cuzz-Faker-Teddy-Keria.
yeah ellim and gumayushi are too raw. gumayushi in particular seems to be playing with soloq mentality. i think in february zeus is also 100% going to replace canna. canna doesnt seem to be able to replicate last season's form
I mean, given how hyped Zeus is, even Canna in his prime might have been replaced. Guma/Teddy is a tough call, Teddy is very talented but Guma just seems to be so talented, and T1 needs that to overcome the likes of DWG or this new HLE lineup.
if canna was playing like last season i dont think theyd replace him simply because the experience of having played a full season would be more valuable. at the moment i dont think the experience card is going to cut it for him though. as for teddy/guma, apparently teddys performances just dont cut it in scrims so well have to see. from a coaching perspective though, would you rather play a bot-side game with a winning lane that cant be counted on to carry? or play a top side game knowing your bot lane is just gonna go even at best but you trust your macro/teamfighting (typical t1 style). at least with the latter option you know what youre going to get, but with the former option its hit or miss and a coaching nightmare because you cant coach someone to not int. thats down to the player

Honestly I really don't believe in this HLE roster, obviously Chovy and Deft are both extremely good (especially Chovy) but I just don't think the rest of the team is good enough for them to be a consistent top team, I expect them to place below GENG T1 DWG and maybe even KT. That said I agree the I think Guma is more what T1 needs rather than Teddy
