It’s time for a comeback. Riot it finally pushing a carry meta. Champs like Yasuo and Irelia are playable mid. Assasins could make a comeback. Conditions are right for Faker to 1v9 even if the team can’t get their other stuff in order.
But I do think the other stuff is looking up. Untara was just never good enough to be on an elite team, but Thal has shown he is capable of high level play. If they start off starting Thal and play him every game so he can develop they have a real chance to go into late season with him being a strong solo laner.
I acknowledge that the jugle situation is still bad but the master plan: 1) Faker 2) ??? 3) Profit

Profit is in Europe now
Also, no faker for the first three games because of Asian Games. Pirean will most likely be playing.
Hope SKT fix their issues at the start of the split this time. Since they didn't make any changes they must believe in this roster's ability to work through their issues.

RIP LCK
Yup. rip OGN. WOnder who stays with OGN for other games and who goes onto be signed by Riot. Obviously, it seems likely the English casters will stay on, but I wonder more about the Korean casters. People have basically grown up with them and they've become the voice of the league in Korea.

Is this purely because of the scuttle changes?
No it is mainly huge ADC changes. They wanted to make aggressive bot lane picks (read: bruisers) more viable. To do that they nerfed adc base stats and nerfed crit items. So bot lane pick meta is now completely mixed up and weird.
Was probably too much of a change, traditional adc players hate it of course. But then again I dont play the game myself and I enjoy watching the craziness in pro play. The pick possibilities are bigger than they have ever been which is a plus. Although it will get smaller of course once things are more figured out.
its not just the adc changes though. tbh the support buffs from last season have carried on for too long. when you see darius, xin zhao etc at mid along with yi/taric, karthus/nunu etc. you know that its not just the bot lane thats screwed. the only assassins that gets play in korean high elo is like...talon and zoe/lb i dont think carry mids have been a thing for a long time. mids have been pushed back to utility mages for a while, and now its not even mages.

Ah, thanks. I was completely unaware of these changes, apart from a small part of a discussion in another thread.
I voted Gen.G expecting KZ to look bad, but not this bad lol. They tunnel visioned on Morde, and ran gimmicky strats. Gen.G lost to it the first game, steam rolled the rest.
