So the Muramana changes are basically an attempt to bruteforce Ezreal back into Tear build and giga buff Corki or am I misunderstanding the changes completely?

ADC transition to lethality items (Ezreal, Sivir, Draven etc) is not healthy for the role, so many ADC going Duskblade or Collector because on hit takes too long to come online (unless you're Kata lmao). Ezreal loves his current ER Duskblade Hydra build because it gives him insane CD, 0.5 second Qs are no joke if you're good enough to hit them all. Squeezing a Muramana in there delays Hydra and that's a stronger item considering games rarely go beyond 3 items. Imo for Muramana to work it needs a second AD mana source to power it up. Instead, Riot removed PoM stacking mana and Sheen items no longer give mana,, IBG doesn't exist anymore. PoM and ER instead give mana regen, which is likely specifically to detach them from Muramana builds.
Fixed a bug where Serpent's Fang's Shield Reaver passive would not reduce an enemy's shields if the user had any on-hit items equipped What kind of a spaghetti bug is this? I've built SF many times because on paper it looks fairly good, but in practice it did so little damage, maybe it was because of this bug?

It does sound viable, but I think the Duskblade CD bonus is just too good for Ezreal. Duskblade proc damage is so small over the course of a game compared to what every other ADC Mythic offers, yet people still buy it.
|
Doesn't Ezreal get double whammy from new Muramana? The on-hit and the enhanced ability bonus should both apply to his Q?
Is the Duskblade CDR bonus really that big compared to what you tradeoff?
In a three item situation Duskblade only gives you 10 extra ability haste, which really isn't that important since you drown in it on all items that are good on Ezreal. On three items (ER+Hydra+DB) If you sub Duskblade for Muramana you go from ~46% CDR to ~41% but in return you get the far stronger compared to Duskblade Muramana passives. Kind of like how Aatrox can use Stridebreaker instead of Gorehowl too, there's already plenty of CDR on core items.
I honestly think all Mythics are trash on Ezreal and Corki compared to regular items. You could make an argument for Shieldbow in assassin loaded games I suppose.

Ruler, who I truly believe to be the best Ezreal in the world, doesn't even go Duskblade. He's been going Essence Reaver/Muramana into BORK for a while now. If you're a half-decent Ez at threading in autos, duskblade just isn't nearly as effective.
|
Looking at Ruler's builds, he seems to be pretty flexible with his build, but you're right, ER Muramana seems to be his most common core. Really interesting that he isn't building any mythic item, except Duskblade as 4th/5th item in long games. Lots of pros are building similarly, so I guess soloQ meta is kind of behind.

Glacial Augment Stridebreaker is lowkey broken. :D

I almost forgot that Glacial Augment has a second effect, too much Senna. That combo actually seems pretty good, what champs do you run it on?

I've been using it on Garen and Gnar recently. They both benefit a fair bit from the rune prior to Stridebreaker, Gnar become a royal PITA to lane against and on Garen it means hitting an auto will make them eat almost always a full spin.
It took a bit of getting used to not having Conqueror on Garen.
I could imagine it's pretty good on Illaoi too, since she also prior to Stridebreaker can make good use of it by just walking up use the extended reach on W for the slow making hitting her E or Q much easier. In general I think it could be very strong on juggernauts that use Stridebreaker, juggernauts are all so loaded with stats they can beat up most champions with any kind of keystone if they get/stick on them - which Glacial Augment helps with.
If I was good at Gangplank I'd love to try it on him too. Parley for the slow and then it should be trivial to just hit them with an auto triggered barrel, or just Parley for slow then passive empowered auto and then run away with your MS buff.
The rune feels really pretty strong and I could imagine a lot of champions can use it to great succes.
