Had a bad start to his career but was starting to pick it up towards the end.
Hacker came second in all pro votes in the LPL and was pretty much the best jungler not on RNG (Ning won a lot of all pro votes becuase he didn't split time and it's easy to look good with those solo lanes)
He is very much the real thing. The rumoured Suning lineup of Xiaoal Hacker Maple SMLZ Swordart is top 4 guaranteed

Also Rusty has pissed off to GM some OPL team and is lost to casting, Fish has confirmed he is not casting LPL next year.
Sounds like Riot is cancelling the LPL broadcast tbh, which is prettyh awful because this is the year it's finally going to get good with 5+ top tier amazing teams being way more competitive than EDG wins every split days.

Had no internet for more than 2 weeks, pretty fun to read through all the changes since then. :D
As usual pretty hard to judge the teams, though the new EU teams loom rather weak compared to the old guard. And no idea what to think about all those new mid laners.
I am most impressed by the new Misfits roster, though TL also did really good changes it seems.

Rumored that Victory5 has signed Ben4, FenFen and Audi/

Honestly I wouldn't care less, never watched the LPL for the casters, and I watched the CN streams before the English one. But it would still be a bit sad, means that Riot is really eyeing the Asian market and moving away from the Western one, guess they follow the money.

It's going to be like every year, EU is going to spit out at least one amazing new mid laner who will fill the 'gaps' left by the old guards moving to NA (or moving to ADC lol). Then at Worlds they'll solokill Faker/(insert equivalent legend) once and everyone will lose their minds.

Griffin signs Kabbie to play support.
Meanwhile, 100 Thieves Academy player Levi is rumored to be heading to China to play with JD Gaming which I'd be excited about.

After getting burned by the Levi to NA hype I refuse to be hyped by Levi playing anywhere unless he's fluent in the language

Here is a dumb question. Are the Asian languages at all like the European ones where it is easier to learn French once you know Spanish for example?

While I'm no expert whatsoever, I took a couple of semesters of Japanese and I can say Japanese/Chinese/Korean sound 100% different from each other. Maybe if I was fluent that wouldn't be the case but in my entry level knowledge to Japanese I don't know a thing about the others. Compare that to when someone is speaking Italian and you know Spanish, you're vaguely aware of whats going on in some cases

My understanding was that the written alphabets are similar, however, spoken language is still completely different.

NA News:
TL signs Rakin as a content creator/academy sub. CG signs Cody Sun as their Academy ADC.
KT News:
KT signs Umti and...Gango?

Idk, maybe KT is going to be a low tier team this season. Would be sad, but it's kind of the same story as Samsung when they lost the two best teams after their legendary year.

Why should they be a low tier, lmao.
They have the best mid/jungle, top-3 support/toplane and Skatch, who is as serviceable as it gets. You do not need to be a prime imp or WeiXiao to play in a team with Bdd in his 2018 form, all you have to do is not be an active detriment and Skatch is not going to be one.
This is essentially a Bdd's chance to not be called a "he's ok, but everyone can win in King-Zone DragonX", but become the best in the world in one of the biggest organisations in the history, and he has everything for it.
