Not exactly. In the very first few games I did but then I wasn't going for all TIE strategy and that kinda worked fine for me.
Edit : GG people ^_^

Keith's preview is on point. TL has NA shotcalling, Fenix underwhelming non-Azir performance, and NA TPs defining G1

All TL had to do was pick Azir whenever he was available. Inexcusable.

I can understand people picking TL over TSM (even in hindsight). It's the closest match overall of the four. Plus considering natural bias (being here at TL), the TL picks are in the least understandable. The thing I don't understand is people picking H2K. They've been slumping a bit; their quarters match was fine. But Loulex is a major issue for that team. The individual skill level of H2K is far below Origen. Their macro play has been dropping off a bit and their ban/pick has been worse as of late. Even if you assume Origen is going to lose an all AP or all AD comp in 1 of the 5 potential games, it's hard to imagine their skill cap falling to H2K. Plus, Origen 100% needed to win in order to have a strong shot at worlds. Even if Peke and Soaz took time off for a bit at the end of the split, you know they'll be back on the horse in order to get to worlds. But eh, it is what it is.

I mean I picked with my heart for the staff predictions and not with my head, idk about the others
|
I made every pick with my head, the problem is NA teams don't do the same.

I vote for what would be entertaining results in best case scenarios for the more interesting team. So H2k > Origen in a 3-2 at best, since no way H2k could 3-1 or 3-0 Origen, but TL had a maybe 15% chance to 3-0 TSM. Best case scenario for Unicorns is to get 3-0'd by Fnatic.
Seeing teams like Origen or TSM win is just so incredibly boring for me. At least Fnatic lets Reignover sometimes do some interesting jungle carries, and Huni plays trololol champs like Rumble and top Ekko, and Fnatic also just outclasses everyone so hard you see some roflstomps. Origen and TSM aren't really that far ahead of their opponents, or spectacular in any aspect of play, but are just marginally better and face opponents that just are abysmal frauds who will spontaneously implode at any point. CLG are slightly better in that they sometimes proactively win games instead of only frauding around.
Origen being top 2 is extra disappoint because it's like if jiji and chauster made a challenger team for fun and then placed top 2 NA, you're just like "man this region has had no talent development how will they every be relevant on the world stage, probably going to fall behind OCE and BR soon."

the crux of EU is people still thinking froggen is a good mid laner when he's absolute trash now. Thank god they have Fnatic or it would be an extremely embarassing region.

And tbh it is not terribly interesting that TL staff likes TL team better.

Maybe it's no coincidence then that Jon "Traitor" Galt is 7-1 and first place among staff predictions.

Or maybe Jon "Traitor" Galt flipped a coin that landed on the right side enough times. Just random guessing will reach that threshold 3.125% of the time.

NA LCS playoffs was honestly really easy to predict. Only hard one was TIP vs CLG because of CLG history of chokelording

I'm 7-1 as well ~_~ If only someone didn't sell out me to TL church.
But honestly, those playoffs ain't terribly hard to predict. Pretty sure that if Loulex didn't go big time fraud in first 2 games, H2K would've won as well.

so you were resting your prediction on the assumption that loulex is not a fraud?
