Flame: After coming to China, my Chinese teammates have treated me very well. The hardest things to get used to have been Chinese food and a different way of living. I've rested for almost half a year or so. I've also recently been in the middle of some pretty hectic practice.
How did you feel playing competitively in China for the first time?
Flame: I've already taken a break for a long period of time. The first time playing in China was a bit nerve-wracking. Fortunately, this last game didn't give us too much difficulty.
Do you communicate with your teammates a lot?
Flame: We talk a lot beforehand, but in the middle of competition, there are some things we don't take the initiative to say. We're also rather restrained during practice as well.
How long will you have to play in order to return to the pinnacle of your former state?
Flame: I'm also not too clear on how long I have to play in order to return to my former strength. But right now, I'm getting stronger day by day. I'll slowly regain my strength in the future. Still, the most important thing is the problem of communication with my teammates.
Right now there are two top-laners - what kind of differences and similarities do you two have in terms of your separate play-styles?
Flame: Right now, me and Acorn play the same position. I feel like he's very good. He's an excellent player and a trustworthy friend. I took a break for a long time and I'm still not completely sure what kind of play style I have. I feel like I have a play style that's more emphasized in team fights.
How is your current level concerning your synergy with your teammates?
Flame: I don't play too often in scrims. I feel like I should take it slowly for the time being. Right now, we're in the middle of some changes and we're also getting used to each other as teammates.
Is there anything you'd like to say to your Chinese fans?
Flame: I've taken a break for this long and when I came to China, there were still a lot of fans who supported me. I'm still not very used to living in China, but there are still a lot of fans who gave me presents. I really want to thank the people supporting me. I will work harder in the future to play well during competition for my fans. I heard from my other Korean friends that they're not used to living in China and that their relationships with their teammates aren't so great. But honestly, after coming to LGD, my teammates have been very good to me. I feel very lucky to have joined LGD.
