I would really like to know, since i have made a bit of a search on the web and i cant find, thats why im asking, thanks in advance It's one of the Riot designer's personal online nickname. A number of LoL champions are named after big names from Riot. Tryndamere is the President of Riot Ryze is the CEO. Zilean (Zileas) is the Director of Design etc. Curious about something - there's also a top DotA player that goes by the nick Ryze. And an sc2 player on coL. Is that all just coincidence or did the name come from somewhere else first? The dota player used to have other LoL champ names as his steam account name, so he at minimum has played the game before. Don't know about the coL player though.

Thank you all guys but im looking for the meaning of Ezreal, i know they name it after him but i wanna know what does it means... On other note What does RealEZ means? that is really easy or something like that?
ezreal doesn't have a meaning, much like how barbsq doesn't have a meaning.

Which is delicious in meaning.

contemplating the meaning of bear barbecue is making me nauseous. unless it's a bear doing the bbq'ing. in which case i'm ok with that, and in fact i'd pay to eat at a restaurant that sold meats bbq'd by bears.
not off topic at all....

So I was just thinking about how people say lol games tend to be full of BM and it occurred to me that practically every acronym on magic online is insulting. The most popular conversational gambits when I played were
- hud (hope u die) - diaf (die in a fire) - mbn (must be nice [to be so lucky]) - hl (how lucky) - what a sac (lucksac, means you have no skill but only get lucky) - cant believe im losing to this pile (pile = your deck is a pile of shit, or that you made it by picking up a random pile of cards)
Actually thinking about it i can't believe how mannered lol players are generally.

MLG won't pick up dota2 because there aren't very many (properly) good US teams, and so dota2 isn't quite as popular there. LoL on the other hand..
|
All communities suck, no one is better than the next. Its the cold hard truth.

I've only heard/used diaf before and it was never on LoL.

What I mean is that I've seen all those many times on modo and the level of BM is much lower, in my experience, in lol. the fact league of legends does not have hope u die refined down to an acronym should point out the difference.

Isn't that primarily due to the fact that people in LoL only have a selection of words from the list of (shit, faggot/gay, fuck, bad, trash, scrub, one or two racial epiphets) to insult others by?
I guess 'how lucky'/HL is the same as the ever so common '1 HP, LUCKER' though

Hexdrinker Recipe changed to Long Sword + Null Magic Mantle from 2 Long Swords + Null Magic Mantle Total gold cost reduced to 1400 from 1800 Attack damage reduced to 25 from 35 Shield strength reduced to 250 from 300 Shield duration reduced to 3 seconds from 4
Maw of Malmortius Recipe: Hexdrinker + Pickaxe Total gold cost: 3300 (combine cost: 925) +55 Attack Damage +36 Magic Resist Unique Passive: +1 Attack Damage for every 2.5% health missing. Unique Passive: If you would take magic damage which would leave you at less than 30% of your maximum health, you gain a shield which absorbs 400 magic damage for 5 seconds. 60 second cooldown.
For the combine cost you get 5 AD, 6 MR, +150 shield, and the passive.
Missing 10% health = 4 AD Missing 50% health = 20 AD Missing 70% health = 28 AD (when the shield passive triggers) Missing 90% health = 36 AD
So when you're almost dead this item gives you an almost fully stacked bloodthirster's worth of AD, at a cost of 3300 gold. Pretty good item, although it doesn't provide as much MR as I'd hope. The shield is still nothing to scoff at, and it's uptime is lower than most ultimates, and it goes off automatically so you never have to think about it.

I've never understood how "bad" as a noun become popular as an insult. I've never seen it before LoL and always makes whoever use it seem so illiterate to me.

they are illiterate. the proper form is baddie.

Blue Buff gets nerfed if I read correctly?

Rumble - Updated Rumble's recommended items Crest of the Ancient Golem scaling Mana Regeneration reduced to 0.5% of maximum Mana/Energy from 1% Nice nice :D definitely the two best fixes.
|
I guess they can't give too much MR on Maw or else it'll make the shield too strong. That's the explanation that comes to mind for me.

Baddie means villain though, not a person who has no skill, so his point stands that it's being used incorrectly
