Thanks. Happy Gaming. |
Saw most of them on PBE or elsewhere already, though.
EXCEPT THE BIGGEST CHANGE:
- Added Blitzcrank bot to the roster of bots in Co-Op versus AI.

That's good, no thornmail nerf. I actually like it over frozen heart and randuins. Also with the runes from camps giving back mana, you'll see even more dominance from the spam happy champions when clearing waves, maybe even making skarner not as bad as he is currently.

Totally. They should actually reduce at a meaningful rate and amount. They reduce at like 1% the rate/amount they add new 6300 champs. Realitycheck: why? As consumer it´s rational to demand lower prices but for Riot raising the total "IP value" of the game makes sense since they don´t want us to ever run out of stuff to buy. As long as they release new runes every year and release new champions every two weeks we will never run out of things to buy. Reducing the IP cost on champions that are 6 months old or something like that could yield them a ton of nice PR and honestly who cares if people bitch about having paid for the champion at full price months ago. People bitch about high costs already so either way Riot is gonna have people bitching at them. So why reduce them as such? You admit they're in a lose-lose, and as they are now they're very slowly stepping down IP costs on old champs. There's no PR necessary, they're doing what you're describing just by a less amount. I own all but 6 champions on my main, and play enough to keep that number relatively down, but having 3 smurf level 30s I probably only own 15-20 on each of those, and when I hit 6.3k on them I'll just buy a new champ.
I think the number of people who are pleased and happy about IP reductions far outweighs the number of people who bitch about having paid full price. I also think reducing the IP price makes people who complain about how expensive things are a bit happier too.
If people bitching is an actual argument, which was presented, then it's irrelevant to the conversation because people are going to bitch at Riot regardless of what they do in this situation. But if you think that more people will be bitching because Riot starts making things cheaper more often then you are incredibly delusional. Reducing IP costs steadily (like every 6 months or something) will make far more people happy than it will make them upset and I don't think Riot will lose any money by doing so. If anything else they'd probably gain money from me as I'd be willing to buy skins for the two 3150 champions I was just able to save up for that are now affordable for me. Or maybe I'd buy a reduced price champion with IP and spend RP on a newly released champion.
Yeah, obviously if they keep prices high they make more money from sales. But they could easily lower IP costs on older champion and still make just as much money, if not more. You'd still have to drop 6300 IP or 975 RP on a champion if you wanted to play them at initial release.

Meh. He is good in solo q, but he sucks balls against actually coordinated teams.
