EDG got their second-easiest possible group. First they secured a wildcard, and second they have the worst Pool 2 teams possible aside from CLG. G2 got a very difficult group to advance first from, but the best possible group to advance second from. They just have to beat out the weakest Pool 2 team + a wildcard team. I aggregated all the power rankings I could find, made it so that #1 gave 15 points, #2 gave 14 points, and so on and so forth, and put together this chart. It confirms what we all knew, that the group difficulty goes D > B >> A >>> C, but it also suggests that the most tightly-contested playoff slots will be, in descending order: Group C #2 Group D #1 Group B #2 Group D #2 Group B #1 Group A #1 Group A #2 Group C #1

It may actually benefit TSM to have a stronger bottom feeder nipping at delicate teams like RNG.

We all assume MSI playoff bracket SKT shows up but if group stage MSI SKT shows up they could risk falling out early. In my opinion the only true safe assumptions are the ROX will kick ass and the IWC teams will be fighting for not last in their groups

Obviously if classic Faker shows up than SKT would be a clear favorite.
