Welcome to this patch's General Discussion thread for the League of Legends subforum. This thread is for discussion around League of Legends. Free feel to talk about anything LoL related here that does not already have its own thread. While posting standards tend to be rather lax in this thread, pointless spam will not be tolerated.

anyway i was looking up on poppy's ult, it says the user can cancel the channel and reset to 30s and still full damage?

I dunno about cancelling, I think that only applies to holding it til it cancels itself. Pretty sure you get reset if you get interrupted though.

No, if you cancel it does nothing but you get refunded some CD. If you let it go off instantly, it does the same amount of damage but only knocks up. If you channel not for full duration, it still kicks back but not as far.

god I really wish they lowered the numbers a bit on graves/poppy I have no issue with their kits but the numbers are just too high imo
tried a few shen, his q is so wonky and the energy price on it is surprisingly high. thought I could spam that shit the damage procs from it are no joke tho.

Haven't tried him yet, but from the update his abilities now look a lot more focused on all inning than harassing.

You get energy back from hitting Q/E but his energy regen is low so it's really punishing if you're spamming Q without using all three hits
His entire kit is so melee reliant so if you're ever zoned out, you're basically donezo. Gnar would crush top Shen so hard but I wonder how he does against Fiora now

Only non-number thing I have against Poppy is that the knockup is stupid long if you're just using it for that and not to displace.

Knockups in general are always going to be strong, as the only non-reduce-able CC.

Seems more like windows of big harass for Shen than all-in. He's probably fairly bad into anybody with strong range and average into anybody else, but I think that's a necessary evil for his ult/taunt/W to exist as powerful teamfight abilities.
Poppy and Graves are getting nerfed next patch, so I'm content with that. Poppy isn't that nuts, tbh, though I'm surprised how long Graves burst has lasted.

I wonder if Shen Jungle will be a thing again. Decent damage, no need to use energy to shield so he should have decent sustain.

tried the new queue with the setting of mid primary and literally any other role secondary, never got mid.
i'm trying to get mastery 5 on an ADC so i hit bot primary, mid secondary
i have gotten nothing but mid lane in champ select for the last 10 games what the fuck is going on

But targets DO take DoT during the knock up, If you/ally ignite or they have DoT's applied they keep burning down while in the air, and they can't be healed. so it's neat to use vs an annoying janna/soraka/shen as support poppy.

Oh god, please tell me the system doesn't search for a quick match in your primary, and then expands search when it cant find one, and then looks to force-fit you into a match as your secondary to minimize your wait time if it takes longer past that. That's so ham fisted i would think Lyte's team thought it up...oh.

New Shen pretty strong. Rekt 2 Vlads and Fioras. Vlad 1 - went SV first, didn't even have to use taunt to straight up win every trade. Vlad 2 - went ignite and got hexdrinker first and then hp, wasn't even close.
Fioras - looks like a skill matchup imo. But something shen can definitely win.

I just flipped a coin 5 times and got tails every time! Damn broken coin!
But really at small sample size all sorts of strange things will happen regardless of whether or not it works. At high levels even more so but let's give it some time and enough games to see how it works.
