I think the biggest flaw is not asking which games they play/how many are considered "professionals", because those are important factors. You can't equate all esport salaries the same way nobody tries to equate say MLS and MLB salaries. Different sports, different levels of interest. I also wish the median salary was listed because a player like Faker can totally distort the numbers in a survey like this.
as far as I know KeSPA has a pro player license system which could be used to clarify the pro players. Should be only Korea but as usual some information should be treated carefully. I am sure that the average salary number is for lower tier players.

Is this still the case with the new games? I know it was for sc:bw where you had to either get one from a Kespa team or by winning these special tournaments, but what is the situation right now with the market being more diverse than ever?
They really should have included all the teams in this. Also with sponsors like KOO shutting down they might not have paid the full amount? I think I saw something saying KOO were missing pay.

There is another side to it, which is what are they getting in addition to basic pay, if anything? If they get paid $X, but they also get accommodation and food/etc included, then their effective salary would be higher if you include benefits.
