scarra is a fine dude; however, I don't think he makes for the best coach. I wish him good luck.

scarra should step down from coach and take over Link's mid position.
|
I do hope Scarra stays around though, I really like him

Doublelift in his recent interview said that Scarra isn't even working as an actual coach so I'm not surprised it didn't work out at all. CLG needs an actual coach, not a buddy they talk to from time to time.

Going off everything I've heard from Monte and Scarra it seems more of a player problem and that the players just refuse to be coached. Monte talked about how he couldn't even convince the players to go to bed when he wanted them to. It seems like if Hotshot wants to make CLG a good team they need to replace most of the players and build from the ground up and get new players who are willing to be molded.

THIS, so much.
Also, Link will stay mid, I can already see it by how HSGG & Scarra are spinning it like Link was being made unconfident about himself by Scarra. Yay, it's still not Link's fault, you know, he can still improve ! :>

Yeah, and CLG players also said to TSM players that Monte was not doing any actual coaching. At this point I would not believe anything some of the players said. What the fuck do they know about coaching ?
|
While I'm not saying Scarra makes an amazing coach I cant blame him for CLG's performance when he isn't actually allowed to properly coach them & the players don't listen.
In a situation like that the owned (HSGG) needs to step in and establish the authority of the coach or it just doesn't work.

Yeah, I'm more inclined to see CLG as an issue, especially with the experiences MonteCristo had with them.
|
Absolutely hilarious how inept HotShot is at running his team. Dude should sell it and start looking for a job he's actually good at.
Maybe Regi will let him clean the TSM house.
|
hope he now becomes the "shrinnk" for the team, he's a great guy.... goodluck scarra

Lol, telling people when should they go to sleep? No wonder they didn't listen. They are employees not slaves. Boss should only be interested in final outcome - and should stay the fuck away from private life of workers.

He couldn't get them to go to sleep on time during the bootcamp in Korea. That's work time, not private time. The Doublelift/Aphromoo/Link crew just don't have the manic drive to be the best, and we've seen time and time again that they're not good enough to get far with their talent. That core will never accomplish anything of note.

That's the exact attitude CLG had/has, and it's probably also why they're the failure/disappointment they are right now and have generally been.

When your boot camping and their lack of sleep is affecting their practice then yes its his job to tell em to go to sleep.

Poor Scarra. I feel that coaching CLG is setting yourself up for failure. I'd purge the entire roster outside of Aphro if it were up to me.

He didn't do any better on Dignitas. As much as CLG might have problems, I don't get the impression Scarra is a good coach either.
