Hey guys, as you could have seen on lolesports. I'm the new Support for Elements.
I think it's clear the team has a lot of things to work on and issues to resolve and in no way was nyph the source of all of them. The team decided to bring me in as support and Patrik also decided to work as part of the coaching team and it's been phenomenal working with him so far. I don't think nyph was the source of all the problems, nor will I be the solution to everything. But together we can solve a lot of them.
I do think however that I have developed certain qualities over the years especially given the ups and downs i've had in my career, that will allow me to help the team. I've been in Berlin for a couple days now and i'm getting a feel for the team and the problems we are facing. I'm eager to work on solving them and it's been good working with some new & old faces.
As for my performance, it'll be time to put up or shut up. THere's a lot of people that have mixed opinions on me and I completely understand what they base themselves on. Time to prove them either right or wrong. I'll probably be a little more quiet on the social media front for a while & focus on my play & the team. All i can say is that it's so fulfilling to have a drive/purpose again and that i'm incredibly eager to help elements become a better team. Thank you for your support.

Reddit plays elements with an interesting move
|
I'm looking forward to seeing El Krepo (God damn, i always feel like I'm using spanish when I talk about Elemnts players) performance. Hopefully it is the last change Elements makes because I don't want to see them have to remove another one of their iconic players
|
Should be an upgrade, though I dont think that move will turn around the season for Elements. Kinda feel sad for Rekkles. Fnatic is now the team he always wanted. Young, hungry mechanical top notch players and he is stuck with Krepo and Kevin.
|
could be an important change there. with 2 new players the playsitle could be changed but new problems may be arise now. still kevin and krepo are players with issues themselves. but the basic problem of elements could be overcome with this.

Hard to feel too sorry for him. He got the move he was agitating for and it's not like he's been playing godlike while his team feeds.

I like Krepo, so I hope it works out, but I'm not sure roster changes are what Elements needs. I think stronger coaching would probably do a lot more for them. It'll be hard to bring in a coach that players with so much experience and history are willing to submit to, though.
|
Hmm nyph has been pretty underwhelming but seriously, Krepo ? This guy didn't land a single skillshot since 2012.
Although he could bring morale and experience so that might work...
There's also a chance elements just bounces back itself since the team is clearly good enough for the EU LCS, unexpected loss streak happen (see C9) but top teams always rise again.

well who's fault is that?
|
I cant see Krepo changing the Elements playstyle. They need a coach who can tell players what to do and who would actually be listened to (Froggen doesnt strike me as that kind of player for example).
|
i like krepo but EL is such a mess atm... well you could say i am conflicted about wanting krepo to do well and EL to lose some more.
|
Losing vs MYM would be the most funniest thing!

Poor Krepo I feel like he's taking on a lot of pressure, given the EL team's recent performance. I think that EU as a region has just gone more fast and aggro with their styles and EL is clinging desperately to a "let's all just farm for awhile, k? <3" mentality that no longer serves them. I'm sure that they'll buckle down in Summer, I just hope Krepo can last long enough to reap the benefits of that second-split-surge.
Cheering for ya, Krepo. Gonna miss you on the desk~

Hope Krepo can achieve the same level of influence nRateD has in a team.

Not only that, but the individual skill level also got higher. Huni, Reignover, Forg1ven, Febiven, Odoamne, PoE are amongst the best of their respective position.

The highlight of yesterday's match for me (warning, SK vs EL SPOILERS)

The big mistake elements did was thinking that rekkles is enought change in the off-season. They had plenty of time to find good replacements for top and support in the off season but now they have to take whats left on the table.

That makes absolutely no sense at all. They won the last split. Changing 3 out of 5 players after a winning split would be very unreasonable.
