After a brief hiatus to focus on his health, Josh “NintendudeX” Atkins will rejoin the starting Fusion lineup this week. Though not gone for long, Nintendude returns with a warm welcome and full NACS schedule ahead of him.
“I’m very pleased to see Josh returning. The fans should rest assured that we’ve placed Josh’s health over anything else. While our 1-1 showing the first week was disappointing, it shows the team can still come up big without him, which speaks to MiMo’s talent. With that said, Josh has been resting well and has been cleared to play by neurologists. MiMo will be staying in the house to make sure that if Josh needs a break, we’ll have a replacement on hand.” – Veyloris
“Having Josh back on the team will help immensely. I’m really grateful we had the opportunity to use MiMo as our jungler for the first week of NACS, but having Josh back means a lot to Fusion. Not only is Josh a veteran and a leader, he’s also family to us. He helps the team improve in-game, as well as bringing a positive atmosphere towards the team environment. I’m excited for The Dude’s return.” – Bee Sin
In his debut performance, Nintendude and Fusion take on the currently 2-0 Enemy Esports. To show your support, make sure to tune in to the NACS on Tuesday, March 3rd at 8PM PST!
