I saw this on twitter and reddit faster than the main LL website. Are we supposed to just post it ourselves? I figured yall had some sort of official thread in mind for this stuff, but I guess not?

Thanks for sharing, Ares. Very insightful documentary.

very high production value to that.
I am not sure what to think of the benching piglet though. if he's benched and he doesn't scrim with them then how is the team going to get to a point where he is a starter? especially if there are communication problems they need to work on. maybe it would just be better to lose for a bit with piglet than to waste an investment.
as of now it just seems like they have a good player sitting around playing solo queue in their team house. but that's just my very uneducated opinion.

Is the translation wrong or piglet just said he'd rather be a streamer ?

I also read it that way, which seems slightly concerning to say the least...

From what I understand it looked like he was stressed out with the whole new experience coming over, language barrier, and staying together with the team in their game play. So he's glad that he could take a break and think things through and probably work on his weakness with the team.

I kinda wonder what things were like with Taeja and Hero. IMO the TL coach seems to be segregating the team more than trying to get the players to function as a unit. I was a little underwhelmed to see the approach being so... clueless, especially from a team that had such deep roots in Starcraft.

starcraft is completely different. the team may practice together some but essentially it's a bunch of 1v1 players who play under the same name.
in LoL all the players rely on each other. if there are communication issues it actually matters.

What I took away from this is that maybe TL needs to bring in someone independent from the organization, maybe a sports psychologist type (or related), its not unheard of since one of the EU teams (forgot which) mentioned today that they had one. It seems like people have pretty different views on what to do in situations so you get different reactions to things happening. You need all the players to buy into a system for it to work. With Piglet it seemed like while they were benching him for "nonperformance reasons" they kinda were implying that his play was fine, which imo it was not and this was tied into those "nonperformance reasons". His mindset through those weeks showed that he was not comfortable at all and he probably felt distanced and disconnected from the team. That in combination with his own ego clashing a bit with other members and the high stress environment of moving across the world really put him off his game and likely had a large impact on that attitude.
Giving Piglet sometime to refresh and integrate with less pressure should help, but if they want him back they have to find a way to motivate him into believing in what they are trying to do as a team. This somewhat implies to everyone, if the comments from Dom are any indication. The philosophies of "how to league" from the team aren't in sync yet, and this causes disruption to the relationships among the players.
Edit: As for the video, it is pretty top notch quality and I liked it a lot.

In terms of production and depth, this was vastly superior to any of the C9/TSM stuff that has been out. So much more personal and in-depth. Really looking forward to seeing more of these. I presume that Damian Estrada is the one filming and editing this? He's so talented... *swoon*
In terms of content... yikes.

Let's go liquid! 2-0 this week.

If only it was called Liquid Legends :^)
The production of this was pretty awesome, I enjoyed it much more than the previous versions of this kind of thing I've seen (machinima stuff). It also is a pretty good advert for TL jackets.

They do have a sports psychologist. Liquid112 even talked about mandatory weekly sessions with him for every player in his AMA, don't know if any of that was implemented.

Very interesting show with good editing. Was a good watch.

After all those TSM and CLG shows I should know better than to make judgement but man do I dislike Peter and Piglet after this :p And I still cringe whenever they show those serious conversations where the players just stare blank-faced or downright bored on their phones/computers/feet.
