Note: Translating via the Korean/Chinese translator so apologies in advance if things are lost in translation.
Congratulations to WE for winning their first game of the LPL. This game was full of excitement, and winning this game was definitely not easy. We're going to be interviewing their Korean jungler, Spirit! Could you use Chinese to say hi to everyone?
Spirit: Hi everyone~ I'm WE's Spirit.
Your Chinese is already so fluent! Of course, the first question I want to ask is: how do you feel winning your first game?
Spirit: I'm so moved I could cry.
We saw that WE's record before wasn't so great, and with Spirit, we could see that he was a bit troubled on stage. A lot of the fans were worried about you. How were you able to fix your mentality and is there anything you'd like to say to your fans?
Spirit: There are a lot of fans cheering for me, but to be honest, I don't think I had such a great record to deserve it. But seeing so many fans support me, I'm very thankful.
The fans have really paid attention and know that you've tried your hardest. Even though your record hasn't been good, and even though we don't know how you go over eveyrthing afterwards with your team - is there anything you'd like to say to your teammates?
Spirit: When our record wasn't good, the team atmosphere wasn't good. Even though I wanted there to be a better atmosphere within the team, it wasn't easy. Since it was my first win today, I really want to thank my teammates.
Ah, it looks like Spirit is a very kind-hearted player. After getting your first win, do you have any goals for the rest of the season?
Spirit: Well, right now, it looks like we're finally meeting our a win with our losses. Our next goal is to even out our ratio of wins to losses to 50%.
I'm sure this win will give WE's players encouragement and a morale boost. We hope that WE can receive an even better record with their upcoming matches and we hope that Spirit can perform well in China. Thank you~

My soul weeps for the fact that Spirit is rotting in Chinese hell while Bengi has a starting spot on an OGN team.

Seriously, SKT should have opened their purse to sign a good jungler or at the very least get a promising alternative for the jungle position.
Edit: And grats to Spirit. It ain't easy to 1 vs 9.

If SKT had Spirit they would be no.1 in Korea. Damn I feel so bad for him, and there's still so many games left to play before he can leave. I hope he's making enough cash for it to be worth it.

Funny that WE managed to sign Spirit while SKT is still in Bengi prison.
But it's probably too late considering the period and contracts has already been signed.
I hope SKT are already making plans to secure a proper jungler for the next split. Not seeing Faker at worlds just because SKT plays at a disadvantage 4v6 every game is sad.

This was a fairly depressing interview.

Who else could they have gotten? All the good junglers were bought out by China, and Rush went to NA. They could have looked for a soloQ jungler, but that's risky, and Bengi is still better than most junglers (although he is no where near the level of what SKT needs).

Don't be too sad, Spirit is probably making multiples of what Bengi is making.

Swift was without a team for a while (until he signed with a Chinese Challenger Team). Also according to Rush (TIP's jungler), Reignover and Rush both tried out for the SKT jungle position. You see how well Reignover is doing with Fnatic (of course this might have to do with lower level of play in EU in general). I feel like the coaching staff should have offered a lot of money to have an insurance policy considering how terribly Bengi was doing last year.

One of the best junglers in the world. It's easy to see from WE's games just how hard Spirit carries. He's gotten 3-buffs by himself in a normal jungle start without the help of his support or top laner. His pathing and counter-jungling is simply #1 in the entire world. His pathing is right up there with Kakao's in his prime in OGN summer and Dandy's in his prime at worlds. This guy is a GOD. Please give him a better team.
