Welcome back everyone~ today, we'll be interviewing the team that just won - King! Next to me is King's mid laner, Assassin! Why don't you introduce yourself?
Assassin: Hi everyone. I'm King's mid laner Assassin.
After seeing your performance, my first question has to be - did it feel good getting a pentakill today?
Assassin: Not that good. Because I had the advantage in items in that situation.
I always felt like players who get pentakills have these qualities: a good temperament, and a good relationship with his teammates. Because if he has a bad relationship with his teammates, they definitely wouldn't give you the pentakill, right? Do you want to thank your teammates?
Assassin: Yes--today, my teammates performed pretty well. In addition, they gave me a lot of encouragement.
I was off-stage but I could hear your teammates cheering for you on-stage. We were also able to see your expressions on the player cam. It seems like you were the loudest. Do you shot-call during the games?
Assassin: Before the first week, I used to shot-call. But later on, I didn't shot-call as much.
But I saw you looked very motivated on the player cam. And look - you seem so modest right now but you seemed like a completely different person when you were playing the game on stage.
Assassin: I'm just motivating myself and the team.
Nice~ now I feel like you definitely were able to accomplish this. So this is King's first victory thus far. Last week, you weren't able to perform as well. In fact, before King joined the LPL this season, a lot of people had big expectations for you. My feeling is that your team isn't afraid of stronger teams because you're so new. What do you think about your team's style as a whole?
Assassin: We're just.. even.
Just even? Now we saw before, if King manages to get a small lead, they can take control of the rest of the game. And King had to play against the rather stable Energy Pacemaker and your matches felt a bit like oil and water - a bit incompatible. But you were still able to win. In your first game, you got Fizz and in your second game, you got Xerath. Who do you think your best champion is?
Assassin: Well, honestly, I still really enjoy playing Yasuo. But my teammates were too stubborn and wouldn't let me pick him.
They didn't let you pick him at all?
Assassin: Yes. They wouldn't even let me bring up his name, haha.
Aw, what a heartbreaking feeling. But I saw your performance on Xerath and Fizz and it was very strong. Do you practice them a lot?
Assassin: Yes, I practice them. But today my performance was pretty normal. It was pretty average.
Now tomorrow, you'll be playing your old rival, Snake. You've played quite often with each other. Their performances have been pretty good this year and tomorrow you'll have to go on stage with them. Have you prepared a method of playing against them?
Assassin: We prepared some strategies. We can say this year Snake has been performing extremely well. 2014's Snake was completely different. I feel like they're a very powerful team.
You must be wondering how your rivals all of a sudden became so strong this year~ anyway, we wish you the best and we hope you play your best tomorrow!
